This performance is a walking tour set in a forest setting! We invite the audience to wear shoes and clothing suitable for walking, depending on the weather, and to bring a bottle of water.
Has the Earth Fallen Silent? is a spectacular adventure—a performance conceived as a unique journey.

The audience is invited to listen, observe, and experience what it means to be there, living among living things.

Accompanied by a naturalist guide—a researcher at the National Center for Wildlife Research—they move through the landscape, attempting to view the surrounding nature from a perspective other than that of a human being. Each participant experiences a walk that engages the senses and the spirit. The audience then partakes in a theatrical ritual that connects them to the living beings around them—perhaps even allowing them to step into the very skin of the forest?
