Domaine Christian Barthel is a family business located in Albé, in the heart of Alsace, managing 10 hectares of vines in Albé and Villé, using organic farming methods that respect nature and the environment. Our vineyard benefits from an exceptional climate, typical of a mountain vineyard. It is located on steep slopes and is mainly composed of Grey Schist. We produce all grape varieties, with the exception of Muscat. The local specialty is the Pinot Noir “Rouge d'Albé”. Our wines are monitored and vinified using the latest techniques, to ensure that they are typical, dry and fruity. The family passion is entirely dedicated to the vine: cultivation, vinification, bottling on the estate and direct sales.
