Urmatt
Urmatt is a resort of 1429 inhabitants with an area of 1384 hectares, surrounded by the Vosges mountains. It marks the beginning of the valley of the Bruch and the Hasel. The surrounding landscape is undulating and offers numerous walks and rambles, including to the Mutzig rock (1010 metres above sea-level) along the GR53 walkers’ trail. There are 2 and 3-star hotels and a number of furnished lets for visitors to stay in.
