Leading Quality Trails - Best of Europe certified route. This part of the route passes through the Struthof, the former concentration camp of Natzwiller-Struthof and European center of deported resistance fighters. It is an important place of remembrance. Near the beginning of this stage is the Alsace-Moselle Memorial, which aims to explain the history of this part of France from 1870 to the present.
